Jeff Weinfurter

Born: 9/29/1968

Birthplace: Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Residence: Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Car: #3 Biggins® Pontiac Grand Prix

Jeff enters the season excited for success! The racing old veteran won the 2010 Fall Shootout super late model feature at Marshfield Motor Speedway and qualified for the ASA Midwest Tour Swiss Colony Fall Classic feature at Madison International Speedway, where he ran a strong race until mechanical failures prevented him from capturing a Top 10 finish.

Weinfurter's recent success is part in thanks to 24 years of racing experience. Prior to racing the super late model cars, he raced pure stocks, limited plate models and super stocks.

One of Weinfurter's proudest moments in racing was being voted Asphalt Late Model Driver of the Year in the state of Wisconsin in 1998. The award has also been awarded to NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth.

His personal success aside, Weinfurter says his proudest racing moment was seeing his 18-year old daughter, Katie, finish her first career race at Slinger Super Speedway in June, 2011.

Strong performances at some of the Midwest's premier racing venues helped Weinfurter do an exceptional job at promoting the Biggins® brand.

Jeff and his wife Michelle have two daughters, Katie, 20, and Jamie, 17. When Weinfurter isn't at the race track or working on race cars, he enjoys deer hunting. One interesting fact about Jeff's family is that his father, his two brothers and he have all won track championships.

Jeremy Schulz

"I thank all my family and friends for helping me, and I couldn't have done it without them."

~ Jeremy Schulz

Born: 1/30/1977

Birthplace: Stevens Point, WI

Residence: Winthrop Harbor, WI

Car: #1 Biggins® Pontiac Grand Prix

Schulz will team up with fellow Biggins® Racing driver Jeff Weinfurter and hopes to run the entire schedule at Golden Sands Speedway.

Jeremy's interest in racing stems from his father Joel, the founder of Biggins® Racing. The duo started racings a late model stock car together in 2003, not having the available resources for each to run their own car. Joel raced Friday nights at Golden Sands Speedway and Jeremy raced Saturday nights at Marshfield Motor Speedway.

On Memorial Day 2011, Schulz finished his most memorable race. He finished third place in the semi-feature race advancing to the main feature where he started twenty-first. The 100 lap feature gave him enough time to work his way through the field and finish thirteenth out of 29 super late model drivers. Schulz's lone win came in a heat race during his rookie season in 2003 at Marshfield Motor Speedway.

Going to races with his parents are some of Schulz's favorite times. Jeremy enjoyed all of the help that his father gave and still gives him and enjoyed helping his dad at the track as well. Joel has recently been spotting for Jeremy and Jeremy's mother, Vicki, has also been helping at the track all these years.

When Schulz isn't at the track he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and playing golf.

Derrick Van Dreel

Born: 7/17/1994

Birthplace: Stevens Point, WI

Residence: Stevens Point, WI

Car: #12 Biggins® Ford Taurus

Derrick returns behind the wheel of the Biggins® Super Cup stock car for another season and will try to put the experience he gained from last year's season to good use. The 18-year old has been a strong competitor in the American Super Cup Series.

Van Dreel'sseasons have been highlighted by two second place finishes at Rockford Speedway in Illinois, and his solid performances as the #12 Biggins® Super Cup driver have helped make him a valuable spokesperson for the Biggins® brand.

Biggins® Racing founder and former driver Joel Schulz got Van Dreel interested in racing the Super Cup series. Van Dreel had been working on Scuhlz's late model stock car since he was 10 years old until putting his foot on the gas for the first time in 2010.

Derrick graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in the fall of 2011 and enjoys water skiing, wake boarding and snowboarding in his free time.

Weinfurter finished her first two races with two 13th place finishes at Rockford Speedway June 11 and Slinger Super Speedway on June 26, 2011. Weinfurter says her best moment thus far was coming home in one piece after finishing her first career race!
